Daniel-Day Lewis: Abraham Lincoln (Lincoln)

It’s not every day that a film like Lincoln is made, and similarly, not every other actor can portray Abraham Lincoln the way Daniel-Day Lewis did. Speaking of the transformation, the actor completely immersed himself in the character, which is quite apparent from his appearance in the movie.

Not just the prosthetics, beard, and hairstyle were on point, Daniel remained in the former U.S. President’s character for 90 days. Interestingly, everybody on the set (including the director) addressed the star as Mr. President and the technique actually worked! Now we know why he is the only male celebrity to have won three Oscars in the acting category.
