Taron Egerton: Elton John (Rocketman)

As soon as Kingsman: The Secret Service hit the big screen, Taron Egerton became a familiar face to the public, and subsequently, he got fortunate enough to land the role of the legendary music icon Elton John in 2019’s Rocketman.

As it was a biopic, it was obvious that the actor had to undergo a transformation to do justice to the part (which he did) and even had to go semi-bald to represent the ‘70s look of the singer. Although it was not an easy job to perform as Elton, Taron’s hard work was praiseworthy, and it should be admitted that the makers picked the right guy for the film.
