Philip Seymour Hoffman: Truman Capote (Capote)
Philip acted in many movies since 1991, and his journey of portraying distinctive character roles continued until his sudden demise a few years ago. Although he had many memorable performances to his name, the one that stands out was in Bennett Miller’s Capote – a film based on the life of renowned novelist Truman Capote.
As much as his transition into the character was super impressive, it was not something that happened overnight. In fact, the actor lost a lot of weight and used method acting to make everything look real. It was tough for sure, but then the number of accolades Philip received made the hard work worth it.
