Franziska van Almsick – Retired Swimmer Turned TV Personality at Age 43
Former German competitive swimmer Franziska van Almsick has always been a stunner and remains that way even today. The retired world and European champion got into the competitive sport very young and even represented her company at the Olympics.
With 18 gold medals, and after participating in the 2004 Olympic Games at Athens, she decided to hang up her swimming suit. Franziska would soon start a family after retiring and raised her two boys, before returning to making television appearances.
