Nancy Sinatra – Retired at Age 79
It must have put a lot of pressure on Nancy Sinatra, daughter of legendary musician Frank Sinatra and his first wife, Nancy (Sr.), to step into her dad’s shoes. It’s a good thing then that the singer showed the world that she was talented all by herself when she dropped her first single in 1966, the insanely famous, These Boots Are Made for Walkin’.
The strong willed Nancy was transfixed about making it as a performed and hence studied voice, music and dancing. She did take a short hiatus of sorts in the 70s, when she was briefly married to actor and fellow singer Tommy Sands and had kids to raise. Now, the 79-year-old is taking life slow, only making a few appearances with each passing year.
