Michael Crawford – Still Acting at 79
Michael Crawford was the original Phantom from the play Phantom of the Opera, which has already celebrated it’s 3 decade run on the Broadway. The English actor, comedian and singer has also worked at the West End and has won the Laurence Olivier and Tony Award for his work.
Crawford is both a critically acclaimed actor and a fan-favorite too. After a lifetime on stage, he learned that he was suffering from a debilitating disease and moved to New Zealand to heal. With age catching up, Michael only makes occasional appearances on stage now.
