Janis Paige – Retired At 97
97-year-old Janis Paige is one of the last surviving stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood. She became famous not just for her acting skills, but for her beautiful voice as well. The retired actress-singer started singing at a young age, specifically at only 5 years old.
When she got older, Paige was noticed for her beauty, and was even chosen as the “Black Widow Girl” of the United States Army Air Forces pilots flying the P-61 Black Widow, the title was sort of the “muse” of the group of pilots during World War II. Paige is famous for the Broadway shows Remains to Be Seen and The Pajama Game, the movies Silk Stockings and Please Don’t Eat the Daisies, and the CBS show It’s Always Jan.
