Diana Ross – Rocking the Stage at Age 75
Calling Diana Ross just a singer is a criminal offense, as she has proved to be an able record producer and actress. Born and brought up in Detriot, Ross became the lead singer of the all-girl band the Supremes in the 60s and made Motown history as one of the most popular groups in those days. After leaving the Supremes in 1970, she released her first solo album, which contained the hit Ain’t No Mountain High Enough. Venturing into movies with Lady Sings the Blues (she also sang for the soundtrack), Ross earned both an Oscar and Golden Globe nomination for her role. With 12 Grammy nominations to her credit, Ross has been a huge influence for many artists today. Now, at 75, there’s no retirement plans for this diva, as she last performed in 2019’s Glastonbury Festival.
