Doris Day – Living A Quiet Life At Age 96

Doris Day was able to establish herself as a singer and actress in Hollywood during the 1940s. Some of Day’s most memorable performances were in movies like Pillow Talk, The Man Who Knew Too Much, and Romance on the High Seas Move Over Darling. She bagged a total of six Golden Globe Awards in her career. Despite working hard over the years, Day found herself bankrupt back in 1968 when her husband Martin Melcher passed away because he apparently squandered Day’s funds. These days, Day is living a quiet life away from the limelight at the age of 96.
