For many, many years, celebrities and famous folks have hit the clubs, movie premiers and red carpet events in full glam makeup. Some even get inspired to start their own make up and skincare lines, but the trends are changing and there is a call to ditch the mascara and heavy makeup.

Plenty of stars have gone makeup-free when out running errands and even go barefaced on the internet to show us that they have nothing to hide. They share the empowering message that we must love ourselves; wrinkles and all. And yet, some go make-up free just to prove that they have not had any plastic surgery done!

Pop star Lady Gaga, or “Mother Monster” loves to spread positivity and stands strongly against internet bullying because of a deeply personal issue. Ever since she became famous with her outlandish costumes and get-up in her music videos and otherwise, she has been bullied and body shamed.

Now, she’s fighting off the negativity by posting plenty of makeup free selfies of herself, with her fresh faced “woke up like this” look. And wow, we are impressed! Behind the heavy foundation and concealer, Lady Gaga has really good skin, big bright eyes and a million dollar smile. “Love your bodies as they are,” is her clear message.
