Herman Wouk – Retired At Age 103
The huge fortune Herman Wouk has in the bank is all thanks to the success he’s had as an author. Wouk is well recognized for being the brains behind The Caine Mutiny. The said novel was the recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. He is also known for talking about World War II in his novels like War and Remembrance and The Winds of War. As he got older, Wouk still had a lot of ideas to share so he just continued writing. He is already 103 years old as of today and before retiring, his very last novel was actually his 2016 memoir titled Sailor and Fiddler: Reflections of a 100-Year-Old Author.
