Cicely Tyson – Still Acting At Age 94

Cicely Tyson rose to fame back in the 1970s when she starred in the movie, Sounder. Her performance in the film earned her a Golden Globe and Academy Award nomination. Her other memorable performances were on The Help and The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman. Her acting portfolio doesn’t only consist of on-screen projects for Tyson has also found success as a stage actress. She won a Tony Award for her performance on The Trip to Bountiful. Since 2015, Tyson has been playing the character of Ophelia Harkness on How to Get Away with Murder.
