Being a college student is incredibly difficult. Most people who did not go to college think that people who are getting a degree would simply have better jobs and that’s what matters, what they don’t realize is they how difficult their journey would be. Having a college education may be important so that they would have the career they have always wanted, but things could definitely be tough. It is actually really difficult that some people had to get into multiple jobs just to be able to survive.
College is already difficult, there are times that sleep will no longer be an option for them since they need to study so much. Especially those who are in medical school or in law school, where it is very important to be focused at all times. Having a job on top of all that will make things way more difficult. Which is why there are some schools who offer student loans and aids. However, it would seem that a particular law school in Arizona is having a hard time surviving, what more help their students.

Arizona Summit No Longer Accepting Students
Founded in 2005, this school in Phoenix, Arizona was approved by the American Bar Association (ABA) back in 2010, however, earlier this year they have taken it back due to the school’s failure to meet the standards of the ABA. One of the reasons for it is the school’s low bar passage rate after dropping by 25 percent back in 2016.
They are also not meeting the standards of the ABA when it comes to the admission practices and academic support. In fact, last July they have already withdrawn the school’s accreditation. If the ABA actually reinstates their accreditation, the students will no longer be allowed to take the bar after they graduate. If the reinstate does not happen, the Arizona Supreme Court stated that they are still able to do so.
The Arizona Summit is now finding it incredibly difficult to find funds, in fact, they have been locked out of the Phelps Dodge Tower, because they weren’t able to pay for their rent. Since they decided to no longer offer classes this fall while the ABA determines the private law school’s fate, their students were given the option to take classes in other law schools such as in Florida Coastal School of Law and the Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.
Having A Job While In Law School
A 33-year-old man named Kurt Fernandez admitted that he actually had to go become an Uber driver, just to be able to provide for himself because of the delayed distribution of the loan funds at his law school. He is not alone, because there are tons of law school students in the United States who are actually working 1-2 jobs while they are studying. Fernandez, along with 14 other students has chosen to take classes in the Florida law school.
Everyone knows that being in law school means that you are clever and have a way with words and complicated situations. However, despite that, it doesn’t make you any less human. Law school students still need to have a decent enough of sleep, proper diet and exercise, and everything else that would make them stay healthy. Law school itself would tend to take the time away from them to do certain things but that is perfectly fine since it is considered as part of the experience.
Then again, if it has been topped off by working part-time, it would definitely take one strong mind and body to do that. Law school requires a hundred percent focus and commitment, then again, everyone knows how expensive it could be.
According to the Peter Goplerud, who is the President of the Arizona Summit, the delay on the distribution of the funds for the federal financial aid will come sometime this week. The school officials are working hard to resolve this issue so that students wouldn’t need to continue struggling. In fact, one of their sister schools, Florida Coastal School of Law, has extended the deadline for their tuition payments because of the financial aid issue. They are willing to wait for it to be resolved and have even given the students advanced money for their living expenses.
